A Period Strategies for Decoding SRA Program 7^th/8^th Grades	We have finished the novel “The Sign of the Beaver” by Elizabeth George Speare	Parents should have received the book report requirements and sent back the signed letter	SRA Decoding Strategies Book C Lessons 8- 24	The report due dates are in the letter sent home. There are four separate parts.	This month the book report must be worked on outside of class.

D Period Language Arts Grammar Spelling Journal Writing 7^th Grade	New SRA Program “Expressive Writing” Lessons	We hope to cover lessons 50-55 And finish the book	After the book is finished and passing grades are obtained on the final test, we will be doing grammar exercises	and written pieces for the rest of the year. We will begin reading a short novel “Wolf Cry” by Jutta Goetze	No Homework is assigned in this class unless absences are not made up
E Period Math 6^th/7^th Grades	Each individual in the class is working on their own level.	Areas covered are: Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division – decimals using these areas	Skills and application are done on SuccessMaker each week	Practical skills in Time, Measurement, and Money are being used each day	No Homework is assigned in this class unless absences are not made up
